Universal Design for Learning

I really liked the Universal Design for Learning article because in working with children with autism, this is something that would be extremely beneficial to me. Since all of my students have completely different strengths and needs (despite having the same diagnosis), having UDL in place would make things easier. It is rare that I come across a lesson that can be taught in the same way for every student. I often find myself adapting every lesson or activity differently for each child. By having a curriculum in place that is already equipped for instances like this would make everything easier and more efficient for both my students and I in the classroom. It would leave me more time to focus on other things within the classroom.
